Chamber of Commerce Signature Events
The Jacksonville•Onslow Chamber of Commerce hosts approximately 14 events each year designed to serve, educate, and connect area businesses, military, and the community. Sponsorship allows members of the Chamber the opportunity to place their brand in front of key decision makers, entrepreneurs, and peers throughout the Jacksonville-Onslow County region. With 800+-member businesses, an e-mail list of more than 1,000 professionals, and an active social media presence of over 6,000 followers, your business will get noticed as a sponsor of a Chamber event and recognition as an active participant in the Chamber and business community.

Public Safety Awards
The Public Safety Awards Ceremony formally recognizes one deserving public safety professional from of the following fields: law enforcement, firefighting, volunteer firefighting, emergency medical services, and emergency communications. These candidates display exemplary conduct of their duties through serving the citizens of Onslow County, its municipalities, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River during the past year.
Minority Enterprise Development Day
During Minority Enterprise Development Day, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Minority Entrepreneur of the Year and the Linda L. Richardson Minority Business Advocate of the Year are recognized at a special Awards Luncheon ceremony. The week’s events also include an African American Heritage Trail ribbon cutting and unveiling. MED Mingle is our third event for the week, we honor Legends of Onslow with a small ceremony and plaque. The Mingle is a great evening event for networking and fellowship.

Leadership Jacksonville•Onslow is designed to create a corps of informed and dedicated emerging community leaders qualified to lead Jacksonville and Onslow County throughout the 21st Century.
Oysterfest
The Oysterfest is a popular networking event exclusively for Chamber Members. Along with feasting on local oysters, attendees can sample the culinary skills of local restaurants.

Christmas Holiday Parade
Every year approximately 15,000 spectators from around Onslow County line the streets in downtown Jacksonville to enjoy this festive parade. This is an annual tradition in the Jacksonville community, and for many, the parade is recognized as the start of the holiday season.
State of the Community Address
Each year the Jacksonville•Onslow Chamber of Commerce presents the State of the Community Address. The program provides attendees with a brief explanation of what took place in the past, what is currently happening and what the future holds for Onslow County.

The Jacksonville•Onslow Chamber of Commerce Annual Membership Celebration recognizes our member businesses and individuals for their accomplishments and contributions to the community.
Trades Day
The Jacksonville•Onslow Chamber of Commerce partners with Coastal Carolina Community College to host this annual competition for vocation-focused high school students in Onslow and Jones County High Schools. Trades Day recognizes over 125 students for their talents.

The Annual Administrative Professionals’ Celebration sheds light on the many contributions of the devoted and valued administrative professional.
Small Business Week & Breakfast
Small Business Week recognizes the important impact small businesses have on the economy. During this week, the Chamber partners with the Coastal Carolina Community College Small Business Center to host free seminars that provide entrepreneurs and small businesses the opportunity gain to insightful information to help them be successful.
Additionally, the Chamber hosts the Small Business Week Breakfast. At this event, Duke Energy Citizen & Service Award as well as the First Citizen’s Bank Small Business of the Year Award are presented.
EDucation gold tournament
The Jacksonville•Onslow Chamber of Commerce Annual Education Golf Tournament is an opportunity to support educators and students in our local schools to continue their educational training. Proceeds from this event support student scholarships, Salute to Excellence Program, and the Sturgeon City Youth Leadership Program.
